Education plays a very important role in the society.
In fact, a School which is considered a temple of education is the basis foundation of knowledge which is required for the development of any society and its people.
With a mission statement - "learn to serve", Brilliants' Convent has a unique curriculum of teaching and learning by making sincere and constant efforts to work in a manner.
We believe in harmonizing the collective aspirations of the students, teachers and parents. Since schooling is more than academics and at BCS, we ensure experiential and practical learning among students so that the proud Brilliantians can unleash their potential and find their true selves. We encourage children to celebrate individuality and in order to foster a purposeful learning environment, we focus on the overall development of a child in terms of intellectual, physical, cultural, social, moral and spiritual.

Keeping this meaningful thought in mind, BCS has already initiated with the UN Sustainable Development Solutions which aim to develop resources and programs to support education systems by following all 17 SDGs with full spirit and enthusiasm in the form of various activities in collaboration with different countries. Since BCS aims to promote and provide students with a quality education that empowers our young brilliantians to become global citizens. We thoroughly believe that children are the supreme assets of the nation, and therefore aim to create a school culture that shapes the civic behaviours, identities, skills and values of these young people.
Beyond the academic curriculum, we provide our students with incredible learning opportunities and life changing experiences.
As the school where the quality matters the most we have tried to reflect the kaleidoscope of
learning, adventures, creativities and positive approach of our young minds through writing and
drawings. I hope this effort of our minds will surely serve as a stepping stone towards the many
mile-stones we have to cover in pursuit of excellence.
To involve students in an active learning and teaching environment, a teacher requires to have
the ability to deal with each and meet students individual needs.
So, In the ever-changing educational environment, effective teaching practices are helping us as educators to enhance our instructional style.
Though these Strategies and practices can vary depending on the age group and ability of students, these teaching methods help us to adjust our teaching strategies to fit for both the students and the material, recognizing that different students learn in different ways.
Here's the teaching strategy follows in our school
1. Encouraging healthy communication
We used to ask our students about their day-to-day routine tasks frequently along with the subject matter which is being taught to them. Conducting various activities help them to speak confidently in the class .
2. Being a role model
In order to set an example of high morals and values, we can't expect our students to behave in an appropriate manner if we do not behave in the same way so we treat our students with utmost respect and care to build a positive relationship with them.
3. Begin with a short recap
For the purpose of continuity and learning that endures, we used to recall and test the previous knowledge of our students by asking a few inquiry questions to put all the past lessons into context which actually gives us an accurate picture of where our students stand and which all areas need to be revised.
By following these teaching strategies we ensure a Happy Classroom for our learners.
